I installed XM radio about 1 1/2 years ago. Nothing like it. I live in a rural setting and without XM it would be mostly static. Three and four hour drives back to the city are made a little less stressful by listening to all the great music. I do make a point of only listening to music, not news when I drive. Keeps me sane.

I just love my XM. I can't tell you the last time i had a local station on in my truck. The only thing I tune into a local station is a traffic report. Cleveland OH is not on the traffic chanel on XM.

I've had the same experience as you guys. As a freshman in high school, I discovered country music and have been hooked ever since. A few years back, they canned the NYC country channel (I live in northern NJ) so I was SOL. I broke down and got XM about a year and a half ago, and damned if I don't know what I'd do without it.
