Idle too fast

What causes a 94 efi,4.9, e40d to idle too fast?

do a, (or get an) obd scan done. if there are no problem codes, check vacuum lines

Also, check for exhaust leaks prior too the O2 sensor. Had that happen on a friends 300 six.
