Hydraulic Clutch Question
I have a 89 F350 and the I have eto push the clutch into the floor boards to get it to disengage. I've read teh tech article on this site and will follow up with that. However, it was doing this before and I replaced the clutch and it has been ok for about a year. I was told by someone that the throw out bearing has a habit of hanging up and the you need to remove the boot where the arm come out of the trans and squirt some WD-40 in until it runs out the inspection cover. I tried this and it seemed to make a difference for a little while. Does anyone know if this is true and if so is there a better fix?
