4 gauge pillar

I currently have a 2 gauge pillar with boost and pyro. For fathers day my wife asked me what I wanted and I told her the 3 gauge pillar with tranny temp gauge, now im thinking maybe a 4 gauge pillar but have no Idea what gauge to put in the last spot anybody got any Ideas. I have a 110 gal transfertank in the back maybe a gauge for that might be kinda cool.

That would be cool. Might also want to consider a remote electronic fuel PSI gauge. While not as entertaining as a boost or pyro, will definately tell you when a problem comes along.

You could go with a fuel pressure or a mechanical water temp gauge.

edit: Tenn, you beat me to the first one.

Shoot, the possibilities are pretty vast. Fuel pressure is what I have in my 4th pod. Check my gallery to see pics. Other useful ones that come to mind are volts, water temp, & oil pressure. All good things to keep an eye on. I'll eventually be adding those along with oil temp.

While I don't disagree with JT, there are stock gauges for most of that, weak as they may be, and idiot lights for most. The only thing you have nothing for is the fuel pressure, and that can leave you stranded in your tracks.

Yeah, glorified idiot lights. That was the reason I was suggesting adding those.

There are different ranges available, but mine is 0-100 psi. Big oil doesn't have an effect on fuel pressure, so the gauge won't read any different. The only thing that will change your fuel pressure is either by shimming your factory FPR if you've still got it, or by setting it on an external regulator on the externally regulated fuel systems.

FPR = Fuel Pressure Regulator. It's on the side of the fuel bowl, where the return line comes out. Diesel Innovations sells a FPR shim kit. Check their website for some pricing.
