msd ignition on 5.8L
I already have a msd 6A setup from another truck ,was wondering if it would work on my 96 5.8L ,will there be a computer issue? or timing? would I have to change anything else to make it work Thanks Mike

i wouldn't think that you would have to change anything when installing it...but i have zero experience with msd's and ford motors. i've only put one in a vw bug, and a corvette stingray and they didn't need any mod's.

msd ignition on 5.8L
I installed a MSD 6a on my 5.0L 1989. It was a simple plug-in procedure. There are connectors for Ford modells you have to only route in between distributer ans ignition coil. Works fine. Much more spark-power (before about 12 kv after 20 kv).
