another problem argh!
well today looks like i found another great problem... under neath the truck nows thers fuel leaking.... soo i looked underneath and it looks likes its commin from the fuel pump??? so i titened the lines... which wernt that loose.. soo yeah and now its leakin oil from the dipstick that i broke .. and sorta fixed.. but yeah ?? soo good or not good for fuel to be comming out of the fuel pump?? ehhhh oh and i cut that return line and No DIFFERNCE in smoke smokes liek crazy everytime start up

If there is fuel leaking out of the vent hole in the lift pump its because the diaphram in the pump is shot. Also is possible to be diluting your engine oil with fuel- not good. Make sure your oil level is not increasing. Sounds like you need a new pump if you are sure your fuel hose connections are all good, hoses not breaking down inside!

Well if sounds like you may have found your power problem on the plus side.
Any leak that lets fuel out, can let air in.
Lift pumps are not expensive, and not that hard to change.
If the replacement pump has an almost straight arm on it, pay close attention to the install directons. If the camshaft is in the wrong position, it will damage the new pump.

well i just put it on.... see fuel kept draining out the intake line so now im wondering if it was lettin the fuel go back to the tank.. and that coulda been my reason for not starting... i dont know i'll find out in themorning,...
