I can't think of a better place for a show. Branson reminds me of Pigeon Forge, only better. This will be my first time for this show, I hear it's a good one. A few years ago a buddy of mine won a new box for his '56. He said there were only a couple hundred trucks there, so the odds of winning are very good.

I have been to the Branson show several times. It is a nice location and the motel rates are excellent. Doubt you will see 100 trucks though. Add plenty of time in your schedule for traffic jams. It will probably be HOT so allow some soak time in the swimming pool.
Can't make it this year due to several factors including $3/gallon gas. Guess it wouldn't matter. I would take our family car anyway. My truck is not show worthy so there is no reason to take it. Once you get to motel, it is parked for the weekend.
This show is best when you go with freinds! Lots of tourist attractions to occupy your time.
Update: xfordman won a trophy for his beautiful '53! Congrads!
Weather could not have been nicer. We enjoyed the show and company as usual. My son did not shrivel up into a prune in spite of all the time he spent in the pool.
Truckasaurus won best '73-79. I will neglect to mention that there were only 2 entries and that I was trying to get the kids asleep and missed most of the awards ceremony.
