I didn't catch the first thread on this but what I find amazing is that anybody would be dumb enough to sit in the car and light up the jet. The air intake is INSIDE the car. At 11,000 cfms, you wouldn't be in the seat long but you would be hamburger pretty quick. Only in California!

Granted, 11,000cfm is quite a bit, but stick a balloon about 2" from a straw and try to suck it to the straw. You won't even move the balloon. Now blow through the straw at the same 2" distance. You'll send the balloon across the room at the same airflow rate inside the straw. The same concept applies to the turbine. He said it would suck the rose out of the bud vase on the dash, but in the grand scheme of things, that's a small turbine, and there's plenty of other cabin seat from which it can draw air, other than the driver's seat.
