look at CHI EM185 heads and intake, Radchero just posted results of his 408" build. 10.7:1 on 92 octane, max of 612hp and 540ftlbs, with 469ftlbs @ 3100. idling @770rpm.

where is this build? i've searched for radchero and chi and didn't see it.
This is not a race motor and it's designed for low end 'breakneck' torque. I'm interesting in learning this engines potential as are others and i don't think were that close to finding it yet.
My impression is that you can either go for high end or low end but not both. The cool thing about this killer motor is that you will always have decent low end due to it's design and when you have a decent torque curve you are going to produce respectable hp#'s when you add some revs. I'd suggest planning on a comp cam XE262-268 build and select the components to match it...except i'd go with a similar spec retro hydraulic roller cam- an extra $700 or so and I'd get TMI's stroker kit, aussie or chi heads and his kb pistons, scorpion rockers yada yada yada. WOW...that would impress folks. Even better than my build. when i get to putting it together. someday. tomorrow maybe or july.
