ok my 84 150 ,wut needs to be done so that i have no computer controlled over itcan i just switch to duraspark and pull off the stuff off the carb or do i have to get a dif. carb, wut do i got to do thx all

With just changing the distributor over to Duraspark II, It may run, without the computer, but not very well. Not very well at all. I seriously doubt you would be happy with the way it would run.
You really need to replace both the Carb and Distributor at the same time when doing this swap.
If you plan on keeping the EGR valve, it will need swapping too. If you plan on eliminating it, then you have to worry about possible pre ignition, depending on which carb you are able to get.
FWIW: A properly working EGR valve can save you Gas mileage.
