I have installed a 1986 302 V8 in my 1969 Ford F100. All works well
except I'm having trouble setting the timing. The 302 was out of an
1986 Thunderbird with Fuel injection but was converted to the standard
2 bbl carburetor. I am using the older electronic style ignition box with the blue tab.
If I set the timing at 8 degrees BTC I get serious engine ping. Please help?
