Question Leaking tranny

My Tranny leaks from the bell housing when parked on an decline. I had th engine rebuilt two years ago and the guy called to tell me the front seal was leaking. I went to his shop and he told me I could replace it since he didnt want to mess with it. I had jus had the tranny rebuilt before that. He was trying to say he didnttouch anything but I think he might have taken my torque converter. So i have a new seal in the front but leaking fro the bell houseing any ideas? I have a 89 AOD with a borg Warner 1356 Electric shift transfer case. I here the metal "shaving" noise with start up and driving?
Please help.

It could be just the converter. I had one on my 88' do that. If you pull the case and tranny, (its not hard) you can replace it or the front seal (also not hard) But, I would be more concerned with the shaving sound. Its probubly some thing simple right now, but its not going to get better!
