Hi everyone!
I never thought about joining an owners club befor but it sure makes sense. I've owned over the years a '55, '61,'62,'79(3 and looking at another) '88,and a 2000. .The 79 and 88 are daily drivers and the 2000, I gave to my 22 y/o to drive to work and back. The first touch of snow last nov saw that truck into the guard rail. The hood and drivers side were fine but the pass. side was a write off. He took the fender off, and bent everything else, including the chrome rims.
He even managed to bust a tailight and dent the rear bumper! Its in the shop now and instead of two tone and running boards , I decided to go all black with gold flakes and privacy glass with the blackout lights front and back. I am also looking at 22" wheels but I'll wait till its out this coming week. It sure looks good in my computer , hope it looks as good on the street!!! I live in atlantic canada and as soon as nov comes this year, its going in the garage to hide for 4/5 months!! NO MORE GUARD RAILS!!!!
