Fuel filler line
OK, yes I've seen lots of similiar threads here, but none that answered my question. Yes, I've already posted this in the fuel forum...but it may be model specific.
1979 F150 Dual tanks (4x4 with a 351m if it matters) Rear tank is no good, I don't use it. Aux tank is fine for normal driving or sitting, but leaks when fueling. I got under it and can see that the rubber portion of the fuel filler line is cracked, crushed, and just generally old. Can I replace this portion of the fuel line without dropping the tank? Or do I have to take the tank down to get to it?

I doubt it, unless you can reach on top of the tank to get access to loosen/tighten the large hose clamp that secures the filler tube to the tank.
Also, you probably know this already but fuel filler tube is super spendy, around $15 a foot for 2.25"
