01 Nav check engine light low compression

01 Navigator check engine on.. Mechanic says low compression on cylinder 8? Possible? Truck has 77k on it.

what was the code that he got.computer wont set a code for low compression.was it missing.ford has redesigned heads for the nav.seats burning and sticking valves are the main problems
