help with scratches
im looking to fix some of the scratches on my truck i want to attempt to do it my self..first off some are deep they go clear down to metal some arent very deep im thinking touch up paint can fix these...can someone point me in the right direction on what to do and not do atleast get me started on it..thanks alan

If your finger nail catches the scratch it cant really be buffed out. If you use a touch up paint to repair the scratch it usually will show but it is better than having the spot rust. Lighter sratches in the clear can be buffed out with a polisher and the right compunds but you have to be carefull as not to get agressive and burn through the clear. Most body shop suppliers carry everthing you would need in the buffing department. Can initially cost a few bucks to get set up.
