Edge Install
I was thinking of ordering the edge juice with the A2 controller. Has anyone installed edge products before? I have a 99 7.3l. Someone told me that they are pretty easy to install, just wondering before i decide to install myself. Thanks for any help!

when i installed mine it was pretty easy. the hardest part was drilling a hole and tapping the manifold for the EGT sensor. do it slow and suck out all the shavings with a shop-vac, and you'll be fine. you do not want to mess up the manifold, because it's a new one if you mess up. however everything else is unplug, plug the edge connectors between them, and replug them together.

Brian I just did an Edge Juice with Attitude about 10 days ago. It was a SNAP !
You will need to get a thread tap for 1/8" NPT (pipe thread) .. with a 5/16 drill bit. You will be tapping a hole in the exh manifold for the EGT sensor. Just take your time .. .drill it slow, tap it slow, run the tap about halfway in.
Afterwards be SURE to clean the metal shavings out of the manifold so they don't get sucked into the turbo. run a little magnet up in there.. then I took some pipe cleaners, put some grease on the tip, and ran it around in there too.
Outside of that 15 min of work .. the rest literally takes about 15-20 minutes. Their instructions are GREAT and it's a very good product. I love mine
