Unpredictable dieing.
Hi All, I have a 97 F250 with a 460 gas engine. It will intermittently die while running either at a stop or 65mph down the freeway. No sputter just dies. Sometime I can restart it immediately and sometimes it takes 3 hours. But it always restarts and no problems for a week or even a month but it happens again. It happens either on the front or rear tank. Per my mechanic, I’ve replaced the Fuel Pump Relay but that was not it. Not sure if it’s electrical or fuel related. Any body have this before?
