Carl, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Now Nancy can rest. Here are lyrics of a song that was written by a little known musical artist from a duet called Eastmountainsouth. They only released one recording together and this particular song is Nancy' song today:
may your soul be blessed
may your body rest
on the mountain where you were born
may your spirit soar
where there's joy ever more
may you find your way in peace
and there’s no more harm
in your savior’s arms
see you fly away in the sky
did you hear the call of angels one and all
may you find your way in peace
may you know you’re loved
may you shine above on the mountain where you were born
may your spirit soar
there’s no pain anymore
may you find your way in peace
and there’s no more harm
in your savior’s arms
see you fly away in the sky
did you hear the call of angels one and all
may you find your way in peace
may you find your way in peace
may you find your way in peace
Even though I have never met Nancy, I hurt deep in my heart hearing of her parting. I feel as though I have known the both of you for a long time through this forum with all that you have shared here. Though even with this pain we feel, I know that she would want all of us to rejoice in her new life. I'm looking forward to meeting you both.
God Bless You and Yours,
Tim

I am so sorry for your loss. I've been dreading the day that I would read those words. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family (and pup). I had a good cry for ya too. No more suffering and pain for Nancy. She is now in a better place and in peace. Hang in there, and remember all the wonderful years you two had together. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here for you.
I'm so sorry Lenny for your loss. I went down this road almost 5 years ago with my wife but you know.....I was sort of relieved at her passing. I watched her take her last, struggling breath and then knew she was better off. No more suffering on her part and no more suffering, mentally< on my part.
Sure it's tough to lose a loved one but time has it's way of healing the hurt and you can rest easy knowing that you will see her again some day.
Sylvia and I will remember you in our prayers Carl. When tragedy happens in ones life, it becomes easy to forget about the little things that make life worth living. I hope that as your journey continues, you often think of the joy and happiness you and Nancy experienced together and that those thoughts will sustain you and I hope you know that one day, you'll be with her again.

God Bless you, I also dreaded the day I would read those words. There is nothing to say that would be of any comfort in a time like this, after a while it all starts to sound like a broken record, stuff that people just say cause they feel obligated to try and offer comfort, so the only thing I will say is God bless and Stephanie and I will keep you in our prayers.
