hello guys...ive been shopping around, and im looking at picking up a 2003 f250 crewcab, fx4, short bed 6.0 desel.... and i was wondering what size lift it would require to get about a 37inch tire under her 6"...8".. i dont want a 10" to much for me i think... this will be a daily driver.. dont want no excess trouble from the police.. and what kind would be best? ive herd bad things about fabtech.. any opinions? thanks guys
George
I have a 2002 F250 with a 6.5 Inch lift running 37-13.50-18 M/T ATZ Helo Maxx 8 they hit on the leaf springs on full turn lock to lock I also had to cut some of the front bummper to get them to clear,
To keep them from hitting the leaf springs I installed some 1.5 inch wheel spacers and added some bushwacker fender fairs so the tires don't stick out Cop's love finding things to write me up for thats my luck so I don't give them a reason to pull me over.
I know you want a 2003 but same truck more or less.
I think my lift kit is sagging that why I had to trim the bummpers.
