Hi, guys - finally got my fast internet up again - haven't posted in a while because dial up is tooo ssllooww out here!
Still chasing the oil leak on my engine. Finaly decided to let a shop do a flourescent dye test. They're telling me that there's a plate on the back of the engine inside the bell housing that's leaking. Anyone ever hear of this? I haven't seen anything on the forums about it. I'm assuming the tranny, xfer case and TC have to come off to get to it - so it'll be expensive to get fixed. Any advice would be appreciated.
Yes - thanks. Been through all that, no leaks on top of the engine or from the plugs at the back of the engine. That's why I finally resorted to the fluoresence test. I wasn't aware of the rear engine cover inside the bell housing, but checked a service manual last night and see there's one there. Puttin' it in the shop this morning.
