240 C.I. Assembly
asked him to rebuild my 240 engine. As he was removing the engine he was throwing everything on the ground in every direction. I began to worry that for some reason if he doesn't put this thing back togeather I'm going to be in trouble. Guess what? I'm in big trouble. I had to pick up all the pieces that I could find and take them to the machine shop for rebuilding. That part was done and the motor is back in. However, The accessories such as the starter selonoid, vacuume hoses and a few other gadgets that attach to the inner fenders and firewall and the wiring are giving me a problem. Other then finding another 1970 ford F-250 can someone tell me where I can get a drawing or picture of the motor that would give me visual contact on all sides of the engine compartment so I can finish putting this animal back togeather. Oh yes. The reason everything is out of the engine compartment is beacuse I asked him to do that so I could clean up and repaint everything. I would appreciate all the information I can get. Thanks everybody......... Bob

Bob:
I am not aware of any source that will have the level of detail that your looking for. The Ford shop manuals have probably the best chance of helping you, but there again, you're not going to see the kind of detail in such pictures as I think you're hoping for. If you have specific items to install, let us know and perhaps someone can take a digital shot of their 1970 for you. Good luck on the project.
