Do most people have rattles in their truck... Mine arent too bad unles i just hit huge holes or hit some very rough pavement.. I drove a coworkers truck identicle to mine... She "Claimed it had no rattles" Hers was way worse than mine hers made noise when closing the door and even driving on smooth pavement.. and mine has 15000 more miles on it!!!! What is up with that..

I have rattles over rough stuff. There is supposed to be a TSB for the weather stripping on the 03's. Supposedly there is a stiffer upgrade. I'm going to try and get it done on my extended warranty when I take it in to have the driver's power window fixed.

i think a lot of it has to do with wether or not the driver considers, or hears a given noise as a rattle, as well as how loud they play their music.
i don't hear any rattles, though i do have music playing 99% of the time.

My '01 had lots of rattles. I figured that it was probably caused by the fact i'd taken out most of the interior trim multiple times installing stereo or other electronic gadgets. I didn't realize how bad it was until I bought a new Expy a few weeks ago. Noise differnce is night and day.

My 98 with 40k rattles alot. But i guess thats because it was in a left side tbone and was written of as salvage, after which i bought it and replaced the drivers door(see Gallery). So that might have a little to do with it! LOL

I have minor rattles on large bumps with my 03. I'm a freak about noises too. Today I had my head out the window like Ace Ventura, come to find out the noise was coming from a bottle of Maker's Mark in the baggage. We're getting ready to visit my mom and the wife needs the Maker's Mark to deal with her. Bad thing is my wife knew exactly what was making the noise.

The drivers door rattles over large bumps. A fairly common small rattle is coming from the rear view mirror. Had it to the dealer for the door but nothing helped. I can feel the door moving up and down by sticking my hand out and feeling the door at the gap.

The main one that gets on my last nerve is the middle seat that moves forward.... It isnt as bad if u pull seat up and if someones sits on it it stops completely.. From what i hear it is common... Any of u guys have a DIY fix for it... Dont want to take to the stealer.. As I am out of warranty but if i have to i guess i have to... I have looked all under it and cant find it but i hear it every day!!!

Well I found mine and I did isolate it... It was the child seat.... I just folded it down... NO NOISE!!!
I will leave it like that till i take to dealer.. Or i may just take the seat out.... It will look just like from factory except no armrest...
