Transmission Question

How can i tell which transmission i have? C4 C5 C6 or AOD dont know which one i have. Can someone tell me how i can tell the difference between and which one i have?

What is this in, and what engine is it behind? A little more info would be helpful.

You can usually identify the transmission by the shape of the transmission pan. Here is a link to some basic Ford pan shapes that might help.......note that the list is not complete, as I don't think the FMX is listed:
