I accidentally responded while my brother was still logged-in (Blurry94)

My 94 F-150 5.0 4x4 (mass air) does have an E4OD in it. The stock computer calibration code was HOG0, and now I'm using an AKC0 (ECU for a GEN 1 Lightning mass air conversion) because it is/was easier to get tuning support fot it.

The part number for the AKC0 ECU is; F8TF-12A650-NA

The database for the AKC0 is much better than the HOG0 that originally came with the truck. The ECU, 30lb injectors and air meter are from a mass air conversion kit I had for my Lightning.
Tuning with the HOG0 was limited and there weren't any parameters/tables to tune the transmission. One thing we both like about it (ECU, MAF and 30lb'ers) is that the truck can still be driven without the chip.

so what you're saying is that i can get my harness, my maf sensor, some 30# injectors and the AKC0 ECU (F8TF-12A650-NA) and i can have my kit completed? if thats true alls im going to need is the ecu and injectors.
by the way this is going on a 5.0 bored .030 over with gt40 heads, edelbrock performer efi upper and lower intake manifold and other stuff to back this up. and a fully built e4od, so the all the lightnings had the e4od trans?

Ditto - another 94 mass air e4od here in my 4x4 F150

If you want to use the 30lb injectors without a chip, then yes...just be sure the MAF and ECU are the ones from the Lightning MAF conversion. I've read where the MAF is the same on a Lincoln Mark, but I've never seen it myself.

The combo you're building would benefit from some type of aftermarket tuning. And yes, all GEN 1 Lightnings were equiped with E4ODs from the factory.

Unfortunately, Ford doesn't sell that kit anymore. There are some used ones floating around (from other GEN 1 owners), but if you can get a complete engine harness from and mass air'd f-150/E4OD, then that'll work too.

PMAS is looking to recruit a GEN 1 owner to test their MAF conversion kit at this time. It utilizes an EEC-4 Mustang ECU and a stand-alone trans controller for the E4OD. That kit will be sweet once they finish it with it.

Other calibration codes to look for are BIO1, VEX1 and WAY1. Those are cal'd for 351's and E4ODs. You could use an ECU from a 302, but the engine displacement, timing and fuel tables will be a little off for a 351...nothing that a little aftermarket tuning can't take care of though.

That is the number directly off of the ECU. That particular one is rare being that it comes in the conversion kit. You might be better off finding a complete kit, that way the air meter and possibly the injectors will be included.
