ignition issue??? HELP
we have a 1987 f150 lariat, rebuilt 5.0/302/v8 with 30k miles. a cpl weeks ago we had to replace the ignition agitator. than the truck wouldnt start. had the battery tested, it was ok. changed the starter relay, still wouldnt start. replaced the starter. it started, but when we turned the engine off and took out the key the engine was stuck in the cranking over mode. like the starter didnt disengage or something. we had to disconnect the battery to make it stop. any ideas? oh yeah its an automatic 2wd. any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Did you happen to save the old starter relay? If so, put it back in. A lot of people have been having trouble with the replacement starter relays. If you threw it away, go to another store and try to get a different brand.
