Changing fuel filter
All,
Asking a question for a friend. He has a 2004 (new body) F150 supercrew and is wanting to know how to change the fuel filter. Mainly he wants to know how to remove the blue clips, and also if there is a repair kit for the clips or does he have to replace the whole fuel line.

No there is a special tool, available at places like Advanced Auto Parts, that you push into the fuel line that pushes on a pin to release the fuel line from the fuel filter. For the F150 its the 5/16" sized tool. If he has broken the clips off then I do believe you may have to replace the lines.
