Dyno Pull Numbers
Just courious, not looking for a bragging contest with this post.
I want to know if the 120 hp tune gives a 120 hp on a mostly stock engine.
I'd like to understand if the rest of the engine componants can keep up with the reprogramed fuel curve, i.e the injectors, hpop, turbo, etc, etc.
Some where I read that the 80 hp setting felt more powerful than the 100 or 120. That made me think that the chip/program might be capiable of more power, but the rest of the engine can't keep up.
Once I figure out my major screw up with my gages - and get them installed, my next step is to install the DP Tuner chip.
Can you believe I've had this stuff for a month now and haven't been able to install it!
(Mostly due to having a brand new baby boy in May!)

for the dyno numbers, i believe Jtharvey had a 289/58? on his dyno run, on the 120 hp setting. i don't think he did a stock HP run, but we basically have the same mods aside from ATS, and full fuel system he has, and i churned out 203hp with mods on stock program. so no, it doesnt give a full 120 hp. my 140 setting gave me about 88hp i believe
