Hello All!
As many people are aware, we here at Troyer Performance have specialized in computer-controlled F-series performance longer than anyone else, and are well known for getting the best results with our custom tuning of the F-150 platform in particular (though we also custom tune many of the new 6.0 Powerstroke diesels for huge power & MPG gains as well).
We will be dropping by here as often as possible to answer questions, and we will also be updating this section's FAQ in the near future, as any questions that are covered in the FAQ, we will refer you to simply read the FAQ, to avoid time wasted on repetitive questions.
Many of you already know us, as we have been in business for the better part of 20 years, specializing in computer-controlled F-series for the last almost 15 years now, with a heavy presence on the Internet, sponsoring several of the largest Ford Truck enthusiast web sites.
For those who do not know us, we are about Truck & SUV performance, with core emphasis on our beloved FoMoCo vehicle Truck & SUV platforms. We provide performance modifications ranging from mild to wild, and anything in between. We have built many 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14-second 1/4 mile F-150's, as well as the more common daily driver type of vehicle that simply needs more performance. We can provide anything from simple bolt on parts and the world's finest F-150 custom tuning all the way to fully built motors, supercharging, to you name it.
Our facility features an eddy-current chassis dyno, and we spend a lot of time not only testing the simply peak power at full-throttle stuff, which is, unfortunately, what most purveyors of speed parts tend to focus on, to the far more important areas "below the curve", as well as part-throttle torque - which as we all know, is one of the most important aspects to satisfying driveability, towing, and getting the best MPG possible.
We do what virtually nobody else in this business does - we actually *test* the parts we sell, and every part we sell must meet our standards. Our concern is that we *know* which intake kit does the best job, which cat-back exhaust system works best, which headers perform best, and so on, so that we can properly advise our customers, so that they can count on us to give them the best possible bang for the buck. What we are about is making sure that for a given level of modification, our customer's vehicles out-perform others at the same basic level of modification, whether it's a mild daily driver to an all-out race machine, and anything in between. This is precisely why we do so much testing of so many different types of parts, such as the 26 different intake kits we have tested to date for the 5.4 3V F-150 alone, just for example.

For those who own the newer ETC (Electronic Throttle Control) trucks, you know all too well the large complaint of lack of throttle response in those vehicles - we rewrite the ETC system to deliver a far more normal throttle response in all of our custom tunes, and thus we seem to stay pretty much constantly swamped with custom tuning requests.
We use SCT products for our custom tuning, and all of our custom tunes are done from scratch - we do not use value files as so many others do, our work is strictly our own, based on our own internal R&D. We will also provide replacement tunes for those who own SCT products that they purchased elsewhere.
We are also Superchips Inc's oldest distributor, bar none. We have worked on many projects over the years with Superchips Inc., and have a very close relationship with them. In fact, we will be with them during the Roanoke, Virginia phase/stop on the Hot Rod Power Tour on June 7th! For those of you who would like to drop by, just check at Hot Rod magazine's web site for all the details on the locations, times, etc.
We also provide events where people can get together and meet the faces behind the names here, opening our chassis dyno for Dyno Day events that typically turn into 2 & 3 day marathons - so every few months, you will get a chance to come to our shop and meet a lot of your fellow members - in fact, our next Dyno Day event we are working with Ken Payne & Jason Boland to hopefully have them both in attendance as well, so that you can get a chance to meet the wonderful people who run this web site that we all enjoy.
Well, that's about it for now, gang - I just wanted to drop by and leave a quick note of introduction, and to say thanks to Ford-Trucks for asking us to represent their tuning section. It is an honor and a privilege that we hope to serve for many years to come.
Hope to see you all soon, & we'll be talking here on the boards shortly!
