F-150 leafs
I have a 99' F-150 with 4x4 off road package and im assuming the towing package cause it has reese hitch, tranny cooler, discs's all around and a lighting harnes. I have be doin alot of towing latley and was thinkin about putting a an extra 500lb leafs under the rear to help with it squating. Seems to me it squats way to much when i compare it to my old mans super crew when loaded about the same. I also would like to get a little more lift in the rear to match the front of my truck, inwhich i craked up the torsion bars a bit. Any ideas on what i should get or should do.

Putting in an Add-a-leaf would get you the lift and extra capacity you want at a good price. I think they have some that will lift your truck, but wont negatively affect the ride quality due to the fact they dont make much contact with the rest of the spring pack until you get some weight in the truck.

If you look at your spring pack, there should be one leaf on the bottom that is flat. I thought someone made an add-a-leaf that was similar to that, but I can't seem to find any. Basic add-a-leaf systems, I have seen as cheap as $54. You can get them from almost any suspensions parts supplier. Tuff country, Rough country, skyjacker, hellwig, Rancho.
