Hi everyone...

My name is Ty (TY1ON2K). I've owned many vehicles over the years, but they were all on their last leg when I got them. I purchased my first new vehicle almost a year ago -- a 2005 F-150 Super Crew XLT. I'm in love with my truck. I keep it in showroom condition. I have made a few modifications. First I installed a tonneau cover -- a roll-up. I can't remember the manufacturer at the moment but I remember it was a "lite" version. Next I added a Gibson Dual Split Sport exhaust system. I ordered the straight back pipes, but when the order showed up they were side exit. I ended up really liking the look, and the sound was what I was looking for (tight and smooth). I added XM satellite and a K&N filter, then upgraded the entire air intake (K&N 77 series metal intake). I just installed the air intake on Friday and am starting to be really happy with the throttle response and overall driving experience. My next purchase, I think, will be an Edge Evolution tuner. I've got a technical background (Engineering), but am pretty new to the whole vehicle modification field. I'm glad to be part of this community and hope that I can be of help at some point.

Hi and welcome to FTE! Sounds like a great truck there! Be careful, if you venture into the 2004-2006 F-150 forum you may end up doing a lot more Mods!
