Several weeks ago I asked this question and got lots of responses and started a good thread about the color of the FORD letters on various body colors. We even talked about how they wre painted on at the factory.
But, (and I guess I ask too many questions in one thread) this question was never answered: Have any of you used the stick on letters one can buy from the catalogs? How do they look, Do they stay on, etc????
Mine are currently painted (not very well) sungate ivory, same as the grille, but am willing to buy the white letters if they look good.
abe, on my 69 f250 the truck is red and tail gate ford letter's are white. they are stick on from local paint supply whare house. they have been on there for about 15 years and look same today as when i put them on.

Hi abe,
How about polished stainless steel "lasercut" FORD letters.
Wow, that laser cut Ford Script is cool, but I am what we call around here a lightsider,
my truck is stock with a stock tailgate.
Thanks, abe
PS: World Cup starts tomorrow, how do you think Holland will do? Can they duplicate the Clockwork Orange of yesteryear? Or the great teams of the 80's with Gullit, van Basten, and Rickyard?
@ Gman, got them from a friend who works in the metalconstruction.
He's got the privilige to be best friends with the boss, and therefore
the possibility to use the CNC and laser -machine's
And so i'm a lucky b@st*rd.....
They're made from 2mm stainless steel.
@ Abe,
Football..........
I think they're ready for it,
To get there *** kicked..
