Keys, Locks??????

How do I have my door locks keyed to match my ignition key???? and y r some trucks all 1 key and some not???

I just got a new key cylinder and keys for one of my trucks, and was wanting to have the door locks made to match, I like the idea of 1 key, and possibly havin the same key for doors, glove box and ignition for all trucks, easier that way I think and less keys, time, etc

The only way I can think of is to take it to a locksmith and have them change the internal parts of the lock to match your ignition switch.

Take the door key and the new ignition switch that you haven't installed yet and have a locksmith key the switch to the door key

i dont have keys to the doors on the other truck, thats part of the problem, i think the keys r different if i'm not mistaken, like the round key fits one way, the square fits the other, i dunno, i just need one key for all pos's, and how do I remove the door locks?? I may need to take em to the locksmith when I have the money and have em redone to fit my ignition key

I missed the All trucks part.

Decide which keys you wish to use and gather up all the lock tumblers and head to the locksmith.

The square headed keys were for Doors & Ignition
The round headed ones were for the Locking hood release & the glove compartment

Normally they are about $7 a lock but he may cut you a deal for having so many.

It's more expensive if he has to come to you

The locksmith can order square head key cylinders for the doors. All of my Fords run off one key. A clip holds the lock inside the doors.
