rough runner when warmed up
i have an 89' f-250 that idles good and runs great when its cool but when it gets up to normal operating temp it starts to bogg down and chug and starts backfiring. it seems like the exhaust manifold is getting pretty hot also. any help to figure out what is going on would be greatly appreciated.

Could be any number of things. I just fixed this same problem on my brother's 4.0 jeep. It turned out to be the O2 sensor. In open-loop mode, i.e. in a cold start situation, the jeep ran fine. But as soon as the computer went closed-loop, the O2 sensor started sending bad info, and the vehicle hardly ran at all. Have you pulled codes yet?
