Black Smoke
Here's something that just started. I have an '06 F250 CC 4x4 W/8000 miles.<O:p< font O:p<>
I've had the emission recall performed and all is OK.<O:p< font O:p<>
I am noticing more black smoke during acceleration, what could this be?<O:p< font O:p<>
I do run some hard acceleration to "blow" out the build up and it usually does the job. Now, it seems that every time I accelerate just getting on the freeway, I get quite a bit of black smoke.<O:p< font O:p<>
Is this normal? I know diesels are supposed to smoke, but I thought the whole reason behind an EGR was to prevent smoking.<O:p< font O:p<>
