06 expy sluggish

06 expy sluggish
Just took delivery of new 06 Expy Limited. It seems sluggish as compared to my 03 XLT. same rear ends (3.73). This is suprising to me based on 300 HP vs. 260 in the 03. Any ideas?

DBW is "Drive By Wire", Ford no longer uses a throttle cable to open or close the throttle, the switch in the pedal sends a signal to the "Computer" to adjust the throttle...
To reset the Computer, turn the Headlights on, and Disconnect the Battery overnight...

Thanks STRONGNUFF. I tried it and it worked. Low end pull is considerably better. It now feels as strong if not stronger than the 03. Does the computer have to relearn the throttle inputs through the sensors. If so, how long does it take to program?
