hey, i need some help with a little problem i've encountered. My friend was driving my 93 f-150 xl and parked the thing, problem is that he somehow removed the key while it was in accessories mode. The key now does not fit, and i can't shut the damn truck off. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.
PS I punted my friend in the cash and prizes.
Hmm, I think that you friend borrowed my pickup as well.
My '94 F250's ignition lock is busted as well. But, it is only the outside ring, where you can grip the works with your thumbs. Yours is probably tweaked, but I bet a dollar that you can probably rotate it back around to where it needs to be so that the slit in the outside ring is aligned with the slit where the key fits into in the actual lock mechanism itself.
I keep meaning to pull the assembly and replace it, but I just can't seem to get around to it. It also keeps the wife from trying to drive the truck (key won't fit) when I intentionally turn the chrome ring off a few degrees.
