service engine light
Service engine soon light is on. Had a mech scan the computer and he told me a card? had corrosion on it. The replacement card is made of plastic. Does anyone know anyhting about this and can I replace it myself? Thanks for your help.

think you need to get some better information out of you mechanic before nayone canreally help you here.. card i don't know of anything named that .that would cause the mil to come on. did he tell the code number he pulled out?

Fuel guage is okay. Put in a new pump 10K miles ago. Don't remember hearing a code #. Truck is a 99 F250 SD w/5.4L. From what I understand this error is common and Ford put out a replacement part that is plastic so it won't corrode. That's all I know.
