hello, just joined the forums...i got a f250 camperspecial 2wd supercab. i got two quistions about the rig...first off i have a chance to get a rebuilt ford 390m with a edlebrock intake and carb aposed to my ford 400m, the guy says that the intake and carb will bolt onto my 400...is it true? also i have been looking for a suspension lift for the rig, and i cant seem to find one for the f250 2wd...but ive been wondering about the ford 2wd broncho witch seems to have the same setup are the bronco's suspension componets the same?
p.s. this is my first ford truck ever! and i must say i dont like chevy's anymore
Sorry but,There is no such thing as a 390M or a 400M
There is however a 351M / 400 and they are a member of the 335 engine series.
The 390 is an FE series engine last used in 1975 or 1976.

The bolting pattern on Ford Carbs is pretty standard.

The 390 intake is COMPLETELY different from a 351M/400 intake.
