VIN numbers
I am trying to get a title to my truck. The VIN number is no where to be found in my state regesistry. The Dept. of Transportation is saying I have to do a bonded title? Is there anywhere I go or something where I can look up VIN numbers for a certain year model vehicles that were produced?

VIN numbers
VIN #'s are normally stamped on the frame rail top at the
RIGHT(passenger side) near the Front ,just back from the rad support.

VIN numbers
Carfax won't work with this old of a vehicle. I believe only 80 and newer ford trucks with a 17 digit vin will work. The older 11 digit vins don't work unless they upgraded their lists in the last 6 mo.
