99 ford explorer problems (altenator)
Hi I have a 99 explorer and the other day after sitting for about 8 hours it would start but then die right away. So I tried again and found that it would only stay running if I stayed on the gas. So about 15 minutes later i was driving down the road and the truck died while i was driving it even when i was on the gas. when i started it back up no problem it was gone. It has now done this to me 3 times in the last 3 weeks.. I have already replaced the battery. could this be a alternator problem maybe a flat spot that its hitting once in awhile in the bushings.
