Quick Disconnect Jumper Cables
I have a 06 F250 CC FX4 PSD and over the weekend I walked away from jump starting a vehicle for someone stranded as I was not sure of the proper way of doing this with dual battery setup. Fortunately they were in a crowded parking lot where they could get help. I, DO NOT want to do this again.
I have been looking at jumper cables with quick disconnect such as wreckers use and I need any advice pro, con and any recommendations with this type of jumper cable, as I have no experience with these. Thanks for your help.

Painless Wiring makes one. P/N 40101. There are others that make them, I'm just familiar with Painless. And not to lecture, but you might want to glance over your Owners Guide and Diesel Supplement so your not trying to figure other things out. . .In the dark. . . On a cold night. . . Stranded in the middle of nowhere. . .
