New user intro
Hi all, I just put the 630th mile on my 06 F-250 PSD/SC Short bed. Gotta say it was partially this group that made the final decision to go with the PSD after a disasterious experience with an '01 Dodge 1500 4x4 recently that spent all but 15 of the 51 days I owned it in the shop (transmission at 61k) I'm glad to be back in a Ford.
My first truck was a '74 F250 with a 390, couldn't kill that truck but it just got too beat to keep up a few years ago. Gotta say this new truck is a monster, we're moving up to the Durango area from San Diego, and will be going back and forth towing car haulers and cargo trailers, once we are in the new house it will be horse trailers. That poor old 5.2 Dodge had the hardest time moving a 3500lb trailer up from Phoenix to Flagstaff, can't wait to try the same route now hauling the car trailer with one of the vintage cars (~5500lbs) and a bed load of tools, welders and engines.
I've spent the last week just trying to catch up on all the information on this site. What a valuable resource. Thank you all and I'm glad to be a part of FTE.
