Ok guys this one a little more tricky. Ive posted before about my 1992f150 5.0 having a terrible idle a running like crap, well havent fixed that yet. Tried cleaning the egr valve, pcv valve, shot tb with a can cleaner, replaced cap , rotor plugs and wires!!! Still no change!! So I tried something new. I hooked the timing light to each plug wire to check for current. 1, 2, 3, shows an intermittent flashing not a steady flash like cyclinders 4-8???? Then I tried it on the coil wire and it had slight breaks in the beam also. Shouldnt the coil wire be a solid light as current is always passing. She ran great for years with almost no problems so I cant rid of her. Any advice I can get is very appreciated. Tony
Thanks for the info, I think I stumbled over the problem, I did a feul pressure check and got 32psi key on, 20psi idle and 0 to 15 when I try to rev it. Regulator and filter change today!!! Thanks again for you help, hope this works. Tony
