Fuel filter change...

on a '93 F150 4X4 Auto. What's the deal. I have one of the tools to release the spring clip. One side comes off, the other won't budge. I'd appreciate any profession tips, secrets, whatever. Thanks.

Are you talking about the plastic clips at both ends of the fuel filter on the frame rail? If so, break them off. New fuel filters usually come with new clips.

No, they're the spring clips inside of the lines. There's a release tool that's inserted & the lines shoud come apart. One side is not releasing.

spray som wd40 on connection, pull and push a little on the line, try tool again.
