Very normal in this heat. If the temp goes up any higher than 230 I would back off on the speed/power to bring temp down. Outside temps affect diesels quite a bit.

Unloaded, in the summer, at highway speeds, my truck will run at about 188 to 190. In the winter she runs at about 184 to 186. The highest my scangauge has ever recorded is 191. All my truck tows is my fat ****, so i can't help you with the other numbers.

As a side note, it seems that my thermostat opens at 190. Do the 6.0's have 190 thermostats or is my scangauge off?

Edit: I just did a quick search and the Ford thermostat spec is 0.004" of lift at 192 and wide open 0.314" of lift at 219.
