I am not running the Mass Flo EFI. I was well on my way to putting the DIY system that I used, when I came across the Mass Flo EFI. It looks like a good setup, especially if you want to run a carb type air filter.
I wanted to use a cold air intake, and it would have required additional fabrication to do that with the Mass Flo throttle body.
I have seen one on a Shelby Cobra replica. It was on a Windsor motor, but it simplified the hardware. It can be used with an EEC-IV ECU, but that requires an interface box of some kind.
I believe that Mass Flo will sell it as a complete kit, or as piece parts for us DIY-ers. I did get a price for the TB alone, and it wasn't too expensive.
hey Danlee, know of any good and available resourses for efi systems in general and what you are doing...I'd kindal like to get some info in my head for the day i build that 8500rpm 4v- 650+hp monster 400 for my '67 cougar- they will have parts for increased stability at rpm by that time.
Here are some more that are interesting and not too $$$:
"Desktop Dynos" book from the publishers of the DYNO-2000 program is good.
Ford Performance by Pat Ganahl
Power Secrets by Smokey Yunick
Performance Modifying Ford Trucks by Rich Johnson
Off Highway Operation Parts, and
Off Highway Newsletter, both were available thru the Online Store, not sure now.
Then there are various SAE design handbooks available at your big city technical libraries or universities.
As with any books you need to take everything with a grain of salt and do a lot of reading between the lines at times with more cross-checking with other books. -No more than reading posts here!

The book is; "Performance with Economy" by David Vizard, which is out of print since it does not have much to do with new vehicles but you can still find a few used ones around.
We are off topic here but it is an "information thread", -just happened to start with EFI info.
