Brake Caliper ??

when doing brakes on a 2001 F-350 can you still compress the calipers with a c-clamp or do you need a special tool? I thought I read somewhere that doing with a c-clamp would ruin the caliper????

I used a C-clamp on mine and the Haynes manual says to use one.

ditto...i open the bleed valve and can normally compress it by hand
