Runs rough while driving
My 2000 Ford Explorer is running rough while driving. The Check Engine light is on and it sounds like the engine is misfiring. It makes a puttering sound. I can also smell the exaust when I am excellerating. It smells like something burning. Anybody ahve any ideas?

Well the easiest answer I can think of is that you should head to your local auto part store. They have the device that they can hook to your computer and see what is wrong (this will work in your case since the Check Engine light is on).
They will do this for free. I believe this to be the easiest way to start troubleshooting your problem.
