Anybody got a F-450? Whats in it for a motor? Also, does it run 17" rims? I am looking at a couple in upcoming auctions as i am looking for a diesel, and these seem like they might go for a decent price. If ya got one, how do you do on fuel...15 mpg? Better? Worse? Thanks.
Oh, right, exhaust brake...whats the scoop? Can they go on both automatics and standards or what?

The 450's (and 550's) will have the same motor as the 250's and 350's of the same year.
Other than that, you can expect slightly worse mileage for the 450 vs. the 250/350 because of gearing (and weight, depending on options/wheelbase/etc).
they use the V10 or 7.3/6.0 motors. They roll on 10 lug 19.5 inch rims. The frame is much larger than the 250 HD/350 frame. The cab to axle measurement is 60", 84" or 116" depending on what you order.
